    Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (11/29 in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community.

Free to Breathe is now able to fundraise on Facebook! Here's how to create a Facebook fundraiser:

    1. Sign into and click Start Fundraiser
    2. Type Free to Breathe in the Nonprofit search field and click on Free to Breathe when you see it populate. Our profile will have the verified checkmark.
    3. Select from the three cover photos (or create your own).
    4. Add a title, like "I'm Flipping Out for Lung Cancer!"
    5. Tell your Story. Be sure to include #GivingTuesday, #FliptoBreathe, and/or #FreetoBreathe in your Story.
    6. Add an end date.
    7. Adjust your fundraising Goal.
    8. From there, you can invite friends, share on your News Feed, or send a message with the fundraiser details.

Consider making a donation to Free to Breathe to help fund vital lung cancer research and help save lives. Donate here.

If you have some holiday shopping to do, make sure you use our Amazon Smile link before you make your purchases. A portion of your order will be donated to Free to Breathe.

If you rather give your time, we have many events planned for 2017 that you can get involved in. View the events that are currently available here.
